According to Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan - Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, in the first 6 months of 2025, economic indicators mainly maintained a growth rate compared to the same period.
Gross regional domestic product (GRDP) is estimated to increase by 7.01%, total social development investment capital increased by 15.5%, state budget revenue is estimated at 61.2% of the estimate, total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue is estimated to increase by 16.2% over the same period. In terms of total export turnover, it increased by 11% over the same period last year.
In particular, tourism revenue is estimated at VND 31,031.1 billion, up 19.1% over the same period in 2024, being the industry with the highest growth index contributing to the double-digit growth target as directed by the Government.
In the first 6 months of 2025, Khanh Hoa province welcomed 6.2 million visitors, an increase of 20.8% over the same period in 2024. Of which, there were more than 2.6 million international visitors, an increase of 12.3% over the same period.
To achieve the above results, in recent times, the Provincial People's Committee has implemented many trade promotion activities and tourism stimulus. Thanks to that, the consumption demand of people and tourists has increased sharply, especially during holidays and Tet.

The promotion of opening international flights to Khanh Hoa has been enhanced with 38 international flights to Cam Ranh per day. Of which, flights to Korea are 19 flights/day, China is 7-8 flights/day, Russia has 16 charter flights and 3 commercial flights/week, Kazakhstan has 10 charter flights and 7 commercial flights/week...
According to Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan, "after the merger of the new Khanh Hoa province, the tourism development potential will be further expanded. It is possible that Khanh Hoa will welcome 13 million visitors in 2025.
At the meeting to evaluate the socio-economic situation for the first 6 months of the year organized by the Provincial People's Committee on the afternoon of June 24, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the provincial tourism association, to urgently coordinate with Ninh Thuan to build new tourism products for the new Khanh Hoa province immediately after the merger.
