The program recreates the atmosphere of government struggle in Hanoi, marking the victory of the August Revolution.
The great revolution erased the footsteps of the invaders, broke the chain of slavery, and ended a thousand years of the centralized monarchy.
On September 2, 1945, people poured into Ba Dinh Square - where the spirit of the river converged - to witness the greatest moment in the history of the nation, the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

At all 3 locations, the song "Tien Quan Ca" resounded proudly. At Ba Dinh Square, thousands of spectators including veterans, historical witnesses, 1,000 officers and soldiers participated in the parade, the parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2 and a large audience sang the National Anthem.
All people in the 3 regions of the Fatherland joined in the joyful beat, celebrating the river festival. The red flag with a yellow star is still as radiant as the autumn of August of the previous year, carrying the song "the blood-printed flag of victory carries the soul of the country" as a reminder to us about the glorious history of a heroic, indomitable nation, determined to sacrifice everything to regain independence and freedom.

Throughout the program, special art performances were elaborately staged at all 3 points of the North - Central - South bridge, depicting the journey of building a country, defending the country and entering the era of national growth.
The consistent message of the program Under the glorious Flag affirms that the beauty of the Fatherland today is the crystallization of historical traditions, thousands of cultural relics and the heroic sacrifice of generations.

The program connects three bridges representing the three regions of the country: Hanoi - Hue - Ho Chi Minh City as the dams of the same national heart, bringing the sound from peace to the smoke of war, from the oath of the mother to the oath on the battlefield and the immortal belief under the glorious flag.
With the spirit of "We are one - One nation, one belief, one will, one aspiration", the program is not only a gratitude but also a call for help, arousing revolutionary ideals and the desire to contribute to the younger generation.
