On the evening of August 18, on Truong Thi street, Truong Vinh ward, Nghe An province, Nghe An Carnival 2026 took place with parades, street art, circus and fire dances, attracting a large number of people and tourists.
The program is organized by the People's Committee of Nghe An province in coordination with Sun Group, celebrating the 81st anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day 2/9.
This year's Carnival has the theme "Endless Sunshine", built as a journey connecting nature, culture, people and the aspiration for development of Nghe land.
According to the Organizing Committee, the program takes place from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM on August 18th and 19th on Truong Thi street, the section from Lenin Monument to Muong Thanh Phuong Dong Hotel.
The highlight of the Carnival is a parade of 85 artists and actors, divided into 4 groups and 3 model cars. Along the route, there are 3 minishows with many art forms such as Malambo, Latin dance, lotus flower dance, sunflower, circus, LED juggling, stilt walking and fire dance.
International artists also create accents with Malambo performances, vibrant dances combined with lighting and props. Circus art is brought directly to the streets with LED juggling, cycling performances, stilts and fire dances.
Despite the rain, thousands of people still gathered on both sides of Truong Thi street to watch art troupes, take photos and interact with artists.
To ensure security and safety during the program, functional forces organize traffic diversion and regulation. Truong Vinh and Thanh Vinh wards arrange free parking spots to serve people.
On the evening of August 19, Nghe An continued to organize an art program with the theme "Nghe An - Where Sunshine Blooms". The program is expected to end with a fireworks display.
Nghe An Carnival 2026 is one of the cultural and tourism activities organized on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2nd, and also contributes to promoting the image, culture and tourism of Nghe An.
