Jisoo of Blackpink involved in scandal of not returning outfits to designer after 6 months

Jisoo is facing controversy when a foreign designer publicly accused the female singer's crew of not returning the costumes sent for album cover photos.

According to Korean media, designer Benjamin Bortmans - the person behind the JUDASIM fashion brand - recently posted a video on social media saying that he sent many designs to Korea to serve a photoshoot related to Jisoo. However, after about 6 months, some outfits have not been returned.

On JUDASIM's official account, this designer also tagged Jisoo Blackpink's personal account in posts requesting to return items, causing the incident to quickly attract attention from the online community.

Benjamin Bortmans said the photoshoot schedule had been postponed many times. According to him, the Korean crew explained that they were also not aware of the situation. The designer said that he only hoped to receive notification when the designs were returned, but has not received any response to date.

He emphasized that the lost items were important designs from the previous collection and of great value. Benjamin Bortmans said he had sent invoices, contracts and even considered legal measures, but the situation still had no progress.

However, in the next video, the designer affirmed that he did not directly target Jisoo personally. Benjamin Bortmans explained that publicly mentioning the female singer's name was to attract attention so as to receive feedback from the related party, because the name Jisoo appeared in project exchange emails.

The designer also expressed disappointment when saying that young designers have to spend a lot of time, effort and costs on each product, so the lack of feedback for a long time is unacceptable.

To date, neither Jisoo nor her management company has made an official statement related to the above accusations.
