THE BLACK LABEL management company posted a teaser poster video for MEOVV's second EP titled "Bite now" on the group's official YouTube channel.
The teaser lasts about 10 seconds but quickly attracts attention thanks to its mysterious colors and gloomy atmosphere. The video opens with the image of a classical piece appearing in a dark frame. The background music uses the famous work "Toccata and Fugue in D minor" by composer Johann Sebastian Bach.
However, the atmosphere quickly changes when the notes on the paper are gradually distorted and deformed. In the final scene, sharp claws suddenly tear the paper, creating a horror and dramatic ending.
Many viewers commented that this teaser shows that MEOVV continues to pursue a mysterious and personality image - the color that helped the group make an impression on K-pop fans in recent times.
According to Korean media, "Bite now" will be the product marking the group's comeback after about a year since their debut EP "My eyes open vvide" released in May last year.
A representative of THE BLACK LABEL said MEOVV will bring a new change in this comeback. The company expects the group to continue to attract fans with a different music style and image.
MEOVV once received attention thanks to its unique appeal. In the new album, the group will show a newer transformational image," the company shared.
Previously, the group also continuously released a series of personal teaser photos to increase the heat for their comeback. The cinematic image style with dark tones is becoming a topic of discussion on many K-pop forums.
MEOVV is a girl group under THE BLACK LABEL - a company founded by famous producer Teddy. Right from their debut, the group received much attention thanks to their modern music orientation and personal performance style.
According to the plan, MEOVV's EP "Bite now" will be officially released at 6 pm on June 1 (Korean time).
