This special concert is organized by Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to show gratitude to heroic martyrs and people with meritorious services to the revolution.
According to the organizers, Quang Ninh is one of the 5 localities assigned by the Government to preside over the organization of a large-scale art program in the series of activities to celebrate the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day nationwide.
The program takes place at 8:10 PM on July 24. The organizers issued 40,000 invitations and invitation tickets, including 10,000 free online registration tickets for people and tourists. The remaining number of tickets is for delegates and distributed to localities.
According to a representative of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh province, the locality has invited about 11,000 people with meritorious services to attend the concert "Forever Age 20". However, according to reports from communes, wards, and special zones, to date, a total of nearly 7,000 people with meritorious services have registered to attend the program, for many reasons, including old age and weakness. Representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province said that invitation letters will be respectfully sent to each individual and family.
Ms. Pham Thi Thuy Huong - Deputy Director of Quang Ninh Provincial Department of Home Affairs - said that communes, wards, and special zones will arrange private cars to take all people with meritorious services and their relatives to Ha Long to attend the program. The Department of Health arranges medical staff in solemn stand areas dedicated to people with meritorious services and their relatives.
The organizers also arranged people to welcome and lead these special delegates into the stand area.
The concert "Forever Age 20" includes three chapters: "Youth for the country", "Journey of memories and gratitude", "Reunion and Future aspirations", recreating historical milestones, honoring the revolutionary tradition of Quang Ninh and the contributions and sacrifices of previous generations for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
The program has the participation of many artists such as: Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, Hong Nhung, Truong Quy Hai, Ho Quynh Huong, Duc Phuc, Noo Phuoc Thinh, Viet Thu, Duong Hoang Yen, Anh Tu, Ly Ly, ... along with symphony orchestra, choirs, professional art troupes and hundreds of extras, combined with a modern outdoor stage system, sound, lighting and large-scale LED screens.
The program is broadcast live on Vietnam Television (VTV) and Quang Ninh Newspaper and Radio, Television, contributing to widely spreading the meaning of gratitude activities nationwide.
