According to Ten Asia, "Boyfriend on Demand" starring Jisoo is a Netflix series and is expected to premiere in 2026.
"Boyfriend on Demand" is a romantic comedy starring Seo In Guk and Jisoo, exploiting the complexity of modern love and the influence of technology.
In the work, Seo Mi-rae, played by Jisoo, a webtoon producer, faces the challenges of romance in a situation where risks such as emotional attachment seem to be reduced through "virtual dating simulation".
Mi-rae, who is seeking love without the common risks and hurt of real dating, used the platform to date hundreds of guys without any real commitment or suffering.
During this process, she quickly realized that the line between her virtual and real experiences was fading, taking her in an unexpected direction, where she could have to face her own ideas and expectations for intimacy, love, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of emotional connection.
The film Boyfriend on Demand by director Kim Jung-shik probably raises the question of whether pursuing a risk-free love life really brings the happiness and meaning that most of us seek in our relationships, or whether the weakness and sincerity come from accepting the uncertainty of human experience as the true nature of love.
Also on February 14, Jisoo released "Amortage" - her first solo project in nearly two years, since releasing the single "Me" in March 2023.
The name "Amortage" is a combination of the words "Amor" (love in Spanish) and "Montage", a filmmaking technique that gathers many different scenes to convey meaning.
The album includes four songs: "Earthquake" and "Tears" (Korean), along with "Your Love" and "Hugs & Kisses" (English).
Jisoo has actively participated in composing all songs, expressing her musical talent and creativity.
To celebrate the release date, Jisoo will hold a fan event "Soo In Love" at CGV Cheongdam CineCity in Seoul.
She will also start a fan meeting tour in 7 major cities in Asia, including Manila (Philippines), Bangkok (Thailand) and Tokyo (Japan).
