The actor said that he had a pretty fun time in the military. Although many teammates are about 10 years younger than him, everyone is still harmonious and often enjoys the time spent outside together.
Song Kang revealed that his group often takes advantage of days off during the week to go out to play in many places. He recounted: "We have lunch, go to net cafes, bet when playing bowling, then eat and go to the sauna.
When asked if he regularly pays for meals, Song Kang humorously replied: "Do I have to pay for everything?", then admitted that he had invited young teammates to eat and drink many times.
When MC Jang Do Yeon mentioned a 4-frame photo of male singer V (BTS) and Song Kang during their military service, and asked how they met, Song Kang said: "We are close in the military. Same corps but different tasks. V belongs to the special task force of the military police, and I am just an ordinary soldier".
The two met through a mutual friend. After that, they often made appointments to go out on holidays to meet.
“We scheduled the same day to go out during the week, went out to eat together and also often went to internet cafes,” Song Kang recounted. Not only going out on their own, members of V and Song Kang's unit sometimes also meet to play group fighting games.
When asked about how to address each other in the military, Song Kang said that because they belong to different units, they call each other politely like "anh/chị...".
Speaking about who usually pays when eating together, the actor laughed and revealed: "V usually pays". However, Song Kang also said that he had invited V to eat several times, especially when losing in games or bowling.
