On May 1st, according to reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper, the number of tourists flocking to tourist areas and attractions in Ninh Binh increased sharply, many famous tourist areas and attractions such as Trang An, Tam Coc - Bich Dong, Hang Mua, Bai Dinh Pagoda, Thung Nham... were crowded with tourists. At many times during the day, crowds crowded the entrances, boat wharves and check-in areas.

At Trang An eco-tourism area, from early morning, tourists have lined up to buy tickets, and at many times they have to wait for hours to get off the boat. Thousands of boat drivers here have to operate at full capacity.
Similarly, at Tam Coc - Bich Dong Tourist Area, the road leading to the tourist area is often congested due to the increased number of vehicles. Parking lots quickly fill, many tourists have to park their cars in remote areas, causing inconvenience in moving. Meanwhile, at Hang Mua Tourist Area - one of the famous tourist and check-in spots in Ninh Binh, streams of people stretch on stone steps to reach the top of the mountain.

Not only tourist attractions, the accommodation system in the area is also in a "room-out" situation. Many hotel and homestay establishments recorded 100% occupancy from before the holiday. However, accommodation and dining service prices in some areas are guaranteed and publicly listed.
Mr. Bui Van Manh - Director of Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Tourism - said that the number of visitors this year increased sharply compared to the same period, mainly domestic tourists traveling in family groups or short-day tours. This also poses major challenges in terms of service capacity, especially at locations with limited space such as boat wharves, mountain passes, and spiritual areas.

Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Tourism has coordinated with units, arranged forces to regulate traffic, guide tourists, and at the same time requested service business units to publicly list prices, avoiding the situation of "overcharging".
It is forecasted that in the remaining days of the holiday, especially on weekends, the number of visitors to Ninh Binh will continue to increase.
In the first 2 days of the April 30th and May 1st holidays, tourist areas and attractions in Ninh Binh province welcomed nearly 2 million tourists. Of which, there were nearly 300,000 international visitors. Revenue is estimated at over 20,000 billion VND. Traffic, security and order, and service work at tourist areas and attractions are guaranteed to be safe" - Mr. Manh said.
