The program "Tet with Compatriots 2026" with the theme "From the mountain peak to the spring avenue" is built on the basis of policies and decrees issued in 2025, clearly reflecting the consistent concern of the Party and State for ethnic minority areas.
Throughout the program, the image of "spring avenue" connects life stories with the warm spring atmosphere in ethnic minority areas, thereby suggesting a journey of development with many expectations in the future.
With the theme "From the mountain peak to the spring avenue", it evoked images of dangerous highlands covered with clouds all year round that have been and are reaching out to the plains, integrating with the transformation of the country in the special space of spring, the season of life, belief and hope. More broadly, this is also the time of transformation and growth of the country, including the strong rise in ethnic minority areas.
The program crew hopes to send to the audience not only outstanding achievements and imprints in all fields of ethnic minority areas but also to depict the portraits of people who dare to think, dare to do, dare to dream and dare to conquer their dreams.
Tet with Compatriots 2026" is built with a tight structure, including 3 main content layers including: Reportage, exchange with guests and special performances. The art performances in the program are imbued with spring colors and the cultural identity of ethnic groups.
Each performance contributes to creating a bustling Tet atmosphere, and at the same time becomes a highlight connecting traditional values with the modern rhythm of life, spreading joy and positive inspiration to audiences nationwide.
Meritorious Artist Vu Thang Loi said: "I am very honored to participate in VTV's program, and also very happy to sing with singer Hong Duyen the very famous work of musician Phan Lac Hoa - the song Tau anh qua nui".

The program also had an interview with Mr. Trinh Van Quyet - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission to clarify the content about the spirit of Vietnam, from patriotism, self-reliance and adaptability.
Mr. Trinh Van Quyet affirmed: "The era of rise is not just a slogan but a command of history, a continuation of the age-old aspirations of our forefathers, realized by today's generations to awaken, unite, and strongly spread the inner strength of the Vietnamese spirit".
The crew of the Ethnic Language Television Board has spread throughout the 3 regions of North - Central - South to make component reports for the program. Through close life stories, the program depicts a common picture of the country's transformation, where faith and aspiration for sustainable development are being nurtured from remote lands.
Tet with Compatriots 2026" will be broadcast at 7:00 AM on the 1st day of Tet on VTV1 channel and 8:00 AM on the 1st day of Tet on VTV5 channel.
