Many coffee shops "change their clothes" to welcome Christmas early
To meet the needs of young people hunting for virtual photos during Christmas, many coffee shops in Hanoi have invested in decorating the space and building miniature landscapes since November.
The whole space is brilliant with the red and green of the pine tree and the sparkling colors of the laurel wreath, banquet table, nativity scene,... creating a cozy space, clearly recreating the Christmas atmosphere.
Mr. Pham Gia Long - manager of a coffee shop in Ha Dong district said that his shop decided to decorate the Christmas theme this year earlier than previous years because he saw a great demand from young people.
Sharing the same idea, My Ha - a coffee shop employee (Ha Dong, Hanoi) said that decorating early is not only to catch up with the trend but also a way to increase revenue for the shop at the end of the year.
“My shop hopes that after decorating with a Christmas theme, the shop's revenue will increase compared to previous days because young people today not only drink coffee but also come to take pictures and create content for social networks,” My Ha added.
Dress up for Christmas
For many young people, eye-catching coffee shops are ideal places to take beautiful photos, bringing the atmosphere of the year-end holiday season.
Dressed up, Huong Thao (Cau Giay, Hanoi) also took the opportunity to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere early because she was afraid of traffic jams and crowds near the day. At that time, traveling to different locations would be more difficult.
"We are quite satisfied with the decoration of the coffee shops near our house. Going a month in advance avoids the crowds and allows us to take photos from many different angles and spaces," Huong Thao shared.
Mr. Tran Doan Dung (Ha Dong) was present at a coffee shop in Van Quan ward, Ha Dong district and said that he was very excited to welcome Christmas. Because when Christmas comes, it also signals that the old year is about to pass, new things in the future will come.
"Christmas is not just a holiday but also a symbol of warmth, hope, and joy. I feel this is a time to start over, looking forward to better things in the new year," Dung confided.
As for Duong Hue Lam (Cau Giay, Hanoi) and her group of friends went to the cafe to take photos. Hue Lam shared that her group prefers to go to cafes decorated with themes during each holiday of the year rather than going out on the street because it is too crowded.
“I really like the Christmas atmosphere, today I decided to wear an outfit that matches the decoration of the shop to take a set of photos to post on social media,” Duong Hue Lam expressed.
