Israeli defense company Meprolight has just introduced Sting Lumina, a two-wave tactical laser device integrated with infrared lights, designed to serve close combat missions and secret operations in low-light environments.
According to the manufacturer, Sting Lumina is suitable for soldiers operating in narrow spaces such as urban areas, tunnels or closed structures.
The device provides two lasers, red and green, helping users quickly identify and track targets in complex lighting conditions.
In addition to visible laser beams, the system also integrates an adjustable infrared pointer and infrared flashlight.
This feature allows marking and tracking targets in the dark when combined with specialized observation equipment, while reducing the risk of location exposure.
According to Meprolight, Sting Lumina is designed to operate stably on large, high-resistance weapons, including machine guns.
The device uses a two-handed control button, supporting flexible operation through the top button or a separate control cable, helping to maintain stability in high pressure situations.
A notable point is the visual zero-point correction mechanism, which allows simultaneous adjustment of two laser channels. This helps shorten setup time while still ensuring accuracy in both visible and infrared light modes.
The system also integrates protection mechanisms to prevent unintended activation of high-power or visible laser beams.
According to information from the manufacturer, Sting Lumina meets military standards and uses standard batteries, allowing continuous operation for up to 6 hours.
With this new product, Meprolight continues to expand its portfolio of optoelectronic equipment serving national defense and security forces globally.
