According to the report of the Ha Tinh Department of Construction (from December 15, 2024 to December 14, 2025), the whole province had 354 traffic accidents, killing 233 people and injuring 216 people.
Of which, 352 road traffic accidents occurred, killing 233 people and injuring 215 people (down 51 cases, increasing 6 deaths, decreasing 31 injuries compared to 2024); railway had 2 accidents, injuring 1 person (down 2 cases, decreasing 2 deaths, equal to the number of injuries compared to 2024).
In 2025, the Traffic Police force recorded 24,487 violations, fined VND 47.997 billion, temporarily detained 263 cars, 40,31 motorbikes, motorbikes, 157 other vehicles and revoked 964 driving licenses, deducting driving license points for 5234 cases.
Regarding the topic of alcohol and drug concentration, implementing the direction of the Traffic Police Department and the Provincial Police, the Traffic Police force in the whole province has increased patrols, controls and recorded 4,106 cases of alcohol and drug concentration violations, with fines of over 14 billion VND.
The Traffic Police force in the whole province recorded 235 cases of violations of overload, oversized, over length, and height, and fined over 1.9 billion VND.
In 2025, the investigation agency prosecuted 137 cases/137 defendants for the crime of "Violating regulations on road traffic participation" and 1 defendant for the crime of " giving to unqualified people to drive road vehicles".
