Initial information, at 2h50 on August 10, the Firefighting and Rescue Police Team and the Ngô Quyền Police Department received a deployment order from the 114 Center (Firefighting and Rescue Police Department of the Hải Phòng City) and dispatched forces and vehicles to number 43/47 Lê Lai, Máy Chai Ward, Ngô Quyền District, Hải Phòng.
Upon arriving at the scene, they discovered a fire occurring in the kitchen area on the first floor, which had spread to the upper floors. Immediately, the forces of the two units implemented two A-type and two B-type ladders to approach the main entrance via the staircase and through the roofs of adjacent households to organize firefighting efforts. The fire was extinguished around 4h on the same day; the forces continued to spray water to cool down and organize smoke evacuation until 5h on the same day, when all firefighting activities were completed.
The area of the fire was approximately 80m2. The firefighting forces protected the area from spreading to the two rooms on the first floor and adjacent households. On the second floor of the house, there was a corrugated iron sheet and a metal cage, but the windows were open for escape.
Initially, it was determined that three people suffered minor burns, escaped on their own from the burning house, and the Ngô Quyền Police Department took them to the Việt Tiệp Hospital for treatment.
Currently, the Ngô Quyền Police Department is continuing to investigate the cause of the fire.
