The Binh Ngo Spring Opening Calligraphy Festival 2026 with the theme "Quang Ninh's aspiration to reach higher" is held at the Bai Tho Mountain Cultural Area (Hong Gai ward).
Attending the program were Mr. Quan Minh Cuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies of Quang Ninh province; Mr. Vu Quyet Tien, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; along with provincial leaders, departments, branches and a large number of artists, people, students.
Starting writing at the beginning of spring is a beautiful traditional cultural feature, expressing the spirit of studiousness, honoring knowledge, and arousing creative aspirations.
In Quang Ninh, this activity has been maintained annually since 2009, contributing to encouraging the literary and artistic creation movement, spreading the spirit of learning throughout society.
After the drum-throwing ceremony to open the festival, the Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee and delegates performed the calligraphy opening ceremony at the beginning of the year.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Quan Minh Cuong, Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, emphasized that starting writing at the beginning of spring is not only writing the first lines of the new year but also a commitment to action, expressing the aspiration for development, the spirit of innovation and responsibility to the homeland and country.
