On the afternoon of June 30, Standing Vice Chairman of Hanoi City People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan chaired a conference to announce the decision of the Chairman of the City People's Committee on personnel work at the Hanoi City Department of Home Affairs.
At the conference, Deputy Director of Hanoi City Department of Home Affairs Nguyen Manh Quan announced the decision of the Chairman of Hanoi City People's Committee on the appointment of officials.
Accordingly, in Decision No. 3198/QD-UBND dated June 26, 2026, the Chairman of the City People's Committee decided to receive and appoint Ms. Le Anh Thu (born in 1975), Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Xuan Phuong ward, to work at the Hanoi City Department of Home Affairs, holding the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs; the term of appointment is 5 years.
Awarding the decision and delivering a speech assigning tasks, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan emphasized that 2026 is the year to implement many major tasks of the city, including the implementation of resolutions, the Capital Law in 2026 and many other key tasks.
The Department of Home Affairs is also undertaking many new and difficult tasks, such as: Deploying new management models, KPI assessment, administrative reform, inspection, supervision and many other important tasks. In the context of the increasing workload, adding more leaders to the Department of Home Affairs is extremely necessary and timely.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the new Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs to promote work experience, quickly approach work, and unite with the leadership of the Department of Home Affairs to promote professional capacity, excellently complete the task of advising on state management, contributing to building and developing the Capital.
Speaking to receive the assignment, the new Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs Le Anh Thu said that he will make efforts, promote the spirit of responsibility, and together with the collective of the Department of Home Affairs promote the tradition of solidarity and responsibility, successfully complete the assigned tasks, and contribute to the overall development of the Capital.
