Before October 1, 2025, according to the provisions of Decree 119/2024/ND-CP, all vehicle owners need to convert from the Toll Account (TKTP) to the Traffic Account (TKGT). If not converted, vehicles will not be allowed to circulate through the ETC toll station.
To ensure their rights and normal use of the service, people can check the conversion status immediately on the VETC application (the latest version) according to the following instructions:
For customers who have completed the conversion
After identifying and linking the payment method, the conversion status will be displayed immediately on the VETC App in 2 ways:
On the Homepage screen: A notification appears "Successful conversion".
On the balance lookup screen: display the account name as "Traffic Account", and the balance in the traffic records is clearly displayed.

For customers who have not completed the conversion
In case the VETC App screen displays the notification "C need to identify"; "C need to connect payment method" or "C need to do immediately", people need to continue to perform the identification and connection steps according to VETC's instructions.
