On September 7, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Liem - Chairman of Nghia Son Commune People's Committee, Ninh Binh province - said that the Department of Construction has just issued a notice restricting inland waterway traffic to serve the demolition of the Quan Lieu canal iron bridge through the commune.
According to the notice of the Department of Construction, the traffic restriction period is 3 days, from September 7. The scope of traffic restriction in the inland waterway area is from Km0+700 to Km1+700 of the Quan Lieu canal, Nghia Son commune, Ninh Binh province and the channel is prohibited from the Km0+700 to Km1+700 of the Quan Lieu canal.
Ninh Binh Department of Construction requests all inland waterway vehicles when reaching the above river section to absolutely comply with the instructions of inland waterway traffic signs installed in the area. Strictly comply with the Law on Inland Waterway Traffic and relevant regulations.
Previously, after Lao Dong Newspaper reflected on the deterioration of the iron bridge across the Quan Lieu canal, Nghia Son Commune People's Committee had a citizen reception to inform and exchange information with people related to the iron bridge handling plan.
