New Phong Chau Bridge
Started in late December 2024, the project to build the new Phong Chau Bridge - National Highway 32, Phu Tho province is implementing bored pile construction; the dismantling and cleaning of the remaining bridge section is being carried out simultaneously (mainly in Phung Nguyen commune, Lam Thao district).
The new Phong Chau Bridge has a total investment of 635 billion VND, the entire project route is nearly 653 m long, the newly built bridge is more than 383 m long (to the end of the abutment), the road section at both ends of the bridge connecting to the existing road on the Lam Thao district side is more than 113 m long, on the Tam Nong side is nearly 156 m. The bridge width is 20.5 m, suitable for the width of the roadbed, arranged for 4 lanes for motor vehicles and 2 lanes for rudimentary vehicles.
The bridge is permanently built with reinforced concrete and prestressed reinforced concrete, can withstand earthquakes of level 8, and has a clearance of 40 m x 7 m.
According to plan, the completion time of the new Phong Chau bridge is in 2025.
300 billion VND road connecting Phu Tho town with Lam Thao district
The project to renovate and upgrade the road connecting Provincial Road 325B, connecting Ho Chi Minh Road to Ngoc Thap Bridge and the rescue route has a total adjusted investment of 300 billion VND, Phu Tho Town People's Committee is the project investor.
After many months of construction, the project route with a total length of nearly 8 km has basically taken shape. The urban section of nearly 4 km in Ha Thach commune, Phu Tho town has been completed. According to the Phu Tho town Construction Project Management Board, this section is expected to be put into use in January 2025.
With the extra-urban section in Xuan Lung and Tien Kien communes of Lam Thao district, the total length is 4 km, most of which have been paved with asphalt. After the site clearance, the sections are being urgently dug up and paved with crushed stone... the resettlement area in Xuan Lung commune is also under construction.
The above project was started on November 25, 2022, the contract implementation period is 1,000 days. With the current progress, the goal of putting the project into use in 2025 is completely feasible.
325 billion VND road connecting 2 mountainous districts
As a key project of Yen Lap mountainous district, the project to renovate and upgrade provincial road 313G, Tan Son district (section from National Highway 32 to National Highway 70B, Yen Lap district) and the road connecting National Highway 70B to provincial road 313D, Yen Lap district has a total investment of more than 326 billion VND.
According to Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, after more than 2 years of construction, the project has basically completed all construction items, and almost the entire road has been paved with asphalt concrete.
This project is constructed on 3 sections: Provincial Road 313G, National Highway 70B, Yen Lap District to National Highway 32, Tan Son District (Route 1, 8.9 km long); the road connecting National Highway 70B to the starting point of Provincial Road 313D (Route 2, 18.8 km long); District Road 97, connecting from National Highway 70B to Thuong Long Lake, Thuong Long Commune, Yen Lap District (Route 3, 8.7 km long).
This project will start in the third quarter of 2022, with a completion period of 1,200 days. With the current progress, it is feasible that the project will be opened to traffic in 2025.
164 billion VND road connecting 2 national highways
The project to renovate and upgrade the traffic route connecting National Highway 32 with National Highway 70B of Phu Tho province to Hoa Binh province has a total investment of 164 billion VND. Although it is being constructed in Thanh Son district, the investor is the People's Committee of Thanh Thuy district.
According to records, the entire route has basically opened to traffic, many people have traveled on the road although there are still some locations that have not been paved with asphalt, the reason is due to land clearance problems.
According to the Thanh Thuy District Investment and Construction Project Management Board, the project to renovate and upgrade the road connecting National Highway 32 with National Highway 70B of Phu Tho province to Hoa Binh province has so far been about 97% completed. The route is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025.
