Accordingly, Traffic Police Team No. 14, Traffic Police Department, Hanoi Police in coordination with the Road and Railway Traffic Patrol and Control Guidance Department under the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) and Van Dien Town Police, Thanh Tri District, Hanoi City have patrolled along the railway line along Ngoc Hoi Street to check and handle violations, encourage people not to encroach on railway safety corridors, not to open illegal paths, and not to do business within the railway safety area in the Van Dien - Thanh Tri area.
On the morning of February 19, many self-opened paths were closed with hard and fixed fences by authorities, not allowing movement to ensure safety. Many warning signs and barriers were set up at locations where railway crossings were reminded, requiring cleaning to the correct safety location according to regulations.
According to Captain Nguyen Huy Hiep (officer of Traffic Police Team No. 14), the authorities will strictly handle violations at self-opened crossings, including: Not complying with orders and instructions of traffic signs; not complying with regulations on stopping and parking at road intersections at the same level as railways; turning around, walking, standing, lying on railways; crossing fences and fences separating railways from surrounding areas...
"The authorities will coordinate with local authorities and the railway industry to organize inspections, reviews, and put up warning signs, requiring households to voluntarily correct violations. Cases of intentional violations will be strictly handled according to regulations, said Captain Nguyen Huy Hiep.
