Information from Hanoi City Police, at around 9:00 p.m. on August 25, the Command Information Center (Hanoi City Police) received a fire alarm at a residential house located deep in alley 32 Lac Long Quan (Tay Ho district).
Receiving the news, the Command Information Center mobilized 6 specialized fire engines and dozens of officers and soldiers of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Team (Tay Ho District Police) and the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Region 2 - Hanoi Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department arrived at the scene to put out the fire.
Road Traffic Police Team No. 2 (Traffic Police Department, Hanoi City Police) also quickly sent officers and soldiers to the scene to channelize fire trucks to promptly approach the fire.
People who witnessed the incident said they saw fire breaking out from the first floor of the house and quickly spreading to the second floor, covered in thick black smoke. At this time, there is a child trapped on the 3rd floor of the house. When they saw the child trapped, the surrounding people quickly cut the door and brought the child out safely.
Because the fire was in a small, deep alley, when approaching the scene, the authorities had difficulty spreading water pipes for firefighting.
By 9:49 p.m. the same day, the fire was completely extinguished and did not spread. The fire did not cause any loss of life, and property damage is being estimated.
Tay Ho District Police are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
