This is the 7th publication of Nhan Dan e-newspaper, alongside Vietnamese, English, French, Chinese, Russian and Spanish pages. On this occasion, Comrade Le Hoai Trung, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Foreign Affairs sent a bouquet of flowers to congratulate.
Attending the Opening Ceremony were comrades: Ngo Dong Hai, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Pham Dai Duong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission; Le Thi Thu Hang, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Ngo Dong Hai, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, said that Vietnam-Korea have a strong friendship built on a foundation of many similarities in history, culture, national spirit and development aspirations. The relationship between the two countries has been constantly consolidated, expanded, and elevated in recent years, increasingly deepening, substantive, and effective, especially since the establishment of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership framework.
South Korea is one of Vietnam's leading important economic partners in all economic, political, and cultural fields, especially in investment. In which, state cooperation and people-to-people exchanges have developed strongly in recent years with very high reliability; the image of people and cultural life of each country is becoming increasingly closer in the daily lives of the people of the two countries.
In that context, the role of the press and media is very important. Providing timely, accurate, and easily accessible information in the reader's own language is the fastest and most effective way to enhance understanding, strengthen trust, and promote comprehensive cooperation between our country and neighboring countries, including Korea," Comrade Ngo Dong Hai emphasized.
According to the Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, the launch of Nhan Dan Korean Electronic Newspaper will help the Korean community living and working in Vietnam as well as help Korean-speaking readers around the world directly access and accurately understand official information about Vietnam, thereby strengthening mutual understanding, promoting investment cooperation, trade, cultural exchange and social connection between the two countries.
The launch of Nhan Dan Electronic Newspaper in Korean is a timely, serious and creative concretization of the guidelines and policies for independent, self-reliant, multilateralized, and diversified foreign affairs of our Party and State, and also a testament to the effective implementation of the results of the visit to Korea by General Secretary To Lam and his wife and the high-level delegation in August 2025.
Today's event continues to affirm the efforts of innovation and creativity of Nhan Dan Newspaper - the mouthpiece of the Party, the voice of the Party, the State and the people of Vietnam in proactively integrating, promoting digital transformation, promoting the leading role in foreign information, bringing Vietnam's legitimate voice to a large number of international friends," Comrade Ngo Dong Hai stated clearly.
The comrade said that since Nhan Dan e-newspaper was officially launched, besides the Vietnamese page, Nhan Dan Newspaper has made efforts to launch different pages. The launch of the Korean-language Nhan Dan e-newspaper contributes to showing the innovative thinking, long-term vision, and high political responsibility of a Party press agency in foreign information work in the new era.
In the coming time, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee proposed that Nhan Dan Newspaper continue to promote its role as a key and multimedia media agency in the field of foreign information, focusing on deeply propagating the achievements of the Doi Moi campaign, comprehensively and vividly introducing the image, country and people of Vietnam; generally and selectively reflecting the socio-economic development situation, introducing the investment environment, potential cooperation opportunities, and policies to attract investment into Vietnam, including the active participation of Korean businesses and investors.
Along with that, strengthen the introduction of unique cultural values of the Vietnamese nation, tangible and intangible cultural heritages, literature and art, cuisine, scenic spots, customs and habits; and at the same time, pay attention to modern, vivid forms of expression, suitable for each international reader group.
Nhan Dan Newspaper also needs to continue to promote the application of science and technology, digital transformation in the content production process; strengthen multimedia products and images to improve communication quality, expand spread, and attract the attention of international readers, especially young people.
Comrade Le Quoc Minh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, said that currently, along with Nhan Dan Vietnamese Electronic Newspaper, foreign language versions such as English, French, Chinese, Russian and Spanish have made an important contribution to propagating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws to a large number of people in the country, our overseas Vietnamese, as well as foreign readers interested in Vietnam.
Immediately after the Project on publishing Nhan Dan Korean electronic newspaper was approved by the Secretariat, Nhan Dan Newspaper urgently coordinated with functional agencies to deploy all preparations in terms of personnel, technology, especially in terms of data volume and content of the newspaper page. Nhan Dan Newspaper has been and is focusing on producing a large amount of information in Korean about the situation in Vietnam, the activities of Korean businesses and the Korean community in Vietnam, building a rich data warehouse, in-depth information on the friendly and cooperative relations between Vietnam and Korea.
According to Comrade Le Quoc Minh, the opening of Nhan Dan Electronic Newspaper in Korean is not just adding a language, but also opening up a new communication space in foreign languages with a separate audience, contributing to enhancing the effectiveness of the Party and State's foreign communication; creating a legitimate and reliable information channel, serving Korean readers and the Korean language community around the world.
Thereby, contributing to promoting the Vietnam-Korea Comprehensive Strategic Partnership; expanding the communication space about the image of a peaceful, stable, dynamic, and developing Vietnam; and participating in the struggle to protect sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national interests; consolidating trust, understanding and solidarity between the people of the two countries.
After today's Opening Ceremony, Nhan Dan Newspaper will strengthen human resources, continue to invest in equipment, apply new technologies to build data warehouses, promote publishing activities, improve news and articles quality, as well as develop plans to attract advertising and support communication from interested businesses.
With the opening of Nhan Dan Electronic Newspaper in Korean, Nhan Dan Newspaper continues to affirm its pioneering role in foreign information work; and at the same time opens up another important bridge to bring the image of the country, people and policies of Vietnam to the international community," Comrade Le Quoc Minh emphasized.
Sharing at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang respectfully and highly appreciated the People's Newspaper's opening of the People's Online Korean language page, emphasizing that officially introducing Korean into the online newspaper ecosystem of People's Newspaper is not only a development in terms of expertise, technology or language but also reflects a strategic vision, sense of responsibility, and aspiration to contribute to the development of the country, especially for the press and media.
According to the comrade, in the context of increasingly strong cooperation, exchange and connection activities between Vietnam and Korea, the need to access official, timely, complete, multi-dimensional, and reliable information about the two countries has never become as urgent as it is now. "The birth of Nhan Dan Electronic Newspaper in Korean is of extremely practical significance, meeting the needs of a large number of Korean-speaking readers in each country and around the world," the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized.
Comrade Le Thi Thu Hang said that during the recent state visit to South Korea by General Secretary To Lam, the leaders of the two countries reached an important common understanding, in which they especially emphasized the role of information and propaganda work and communication in strengthening understanding, connection and mutual trust between the people of the two countries.
In that spirit, the comrade believes that Nhan Dan Electronic Newspaper in Korean will not only be an information channel but become a reliable address, a companion, a solid bridge connecting the hearts, knowledge and emotions of the Vietnamese and Korean people. Through accurate, objective, vivid, and in-depth information, the publication will help the Korean community in Vietnam as well as the Vietnamese community in Korea have an additional reliable reference channel, thereby consolidating empathy, respect, and mutual understanding between the people of the two countries.
At the same time, the Korean-language e-newspaper Nhan Dan also contributes to providing timely and official information about the investment and business environment, development policies, cooperation opportunities, and potential of each country, supporting the Korean business community and investors to access more fully, accurately and effectively information about policies and the investment environment in Vietnam.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Choi Young Sam, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Korea to Vietnam, said that the opening of Nhan Dan Electronic Newspaper in Korean at this stage is a very meaningful achievement, contributing to bringing new momentum to the Korea-Vietnam relationship.
In particular, with its position as the mouthpiece of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the launch of the Korean electronic page by Nhan Dan Newspaper is not only a simple expansion of language services but also a symbolic step, showing that Vietnam considers Korea an important strategic cooperation partner.
Ambassador Choi Young Sam wished the Korean version of Nhan Dan Newspaper to become an important channel to connect Vietnam and Korea more accurately and deeply in the new era of development of Vietnam.
At the ceremony, delegates together performed the ceremony of pressing the button to open Nhan Dan e-newspaper in Korean, marking the milestone of Nhan Dan's 6th foreign language electronic publication officially joining the internet.
