In the afternoon of July 14, the Fire and Rescue Police Department (PCCC and CNCH) - Ministry of Public Security organized a meeting to commend officers and soldiers who have just excellently completed their international support tasks and carried out rescue and relief work in Venezuela and returned. Major General Duong Duc Hai - Director of the Fire and Rescue Police Department - chaired the meeting.
At the ceremony, on behalf of the Party Committee and Leaders of the Fire and Rescue Police Department, Major General Duong Duc Hai sent greetings, praised and congratulated the officers and soldiers in the International Rescue Team - the " messengers of peace" who excellently completed their assigned tasks and returned safely.
According to Major General Duong Duc Hai, the earthquake in Venezuela caused very serious damage to people and property. In harsh weather conditions, dangerous terrain and dangerous aftershocks, officers and soldiers quickly set off to perform their duties according to the orders of the Fatherland and the international humanitarian spirit.
During their mission, Vietnamese rescue and relief forces have made efforts to race against time to search for and rescue victims trapped in the rubble; promote professionalism, effectively use modern equipment, and closely coordinate with the rescue forces of the host country and other countries.
In addition to rescue and relief work, the working delegation also shared, encouraged, and supported the people of Venezuela to overcome the losses caused by natural disasters.

The Director of the Fire and Rescue Police Department emphasized that the image of Vietnamese People's Police officers and soldiers who are dedicated, resilient, and wholeheartedly for the people of your country has left a good impression on the people of Venezuela and international friends, thereby showing the bravery, intelligence and compassionate spirit of the Vietnamese People's Police force.
Assessing the experiences from the working trip in Venezuela as valuable assets for the rescue and relief force, Major General Duong Duc Hai requested the entire force to focus on performing four key tasks.
In which, urgently summarize and comprehensively evaluate the working trip to draw lessons learned about organization, command, international coordination and use of specialized equipment in complex disaster conditions.
At the same time, continue to improve the quality of training and drills for disaster relief and relief plans, major natural disasters; focus on in-depth training, improving technical, tactical and bravery levels for officers and soldiers, ready to effectively perform domestic and international tasks when assigned.
The Director of the Fire and Rescue Police Department also requested to strengthen research and propose investment in modern rescue and salvage vehicles and equipment, ensuring synchronicity and high mobility; promote international cooperation, exchange of experiences and application of science and technology in the field of fire prevention and fighting and rescue.
Along with that, it is necessary to promote propaganda about the examples and courageous actions of officers and soldiers during the working trip to Venezuela to spread the beautiful image of the Vietnam Fire and Rescue Police force to the people and international friends.


Today's meeting is not only to commend and honor the contributions of the comrades, but also an opportunity for us to add the fire of enthusiasm, love for the profession and spirit of responsibility to the entire force.

The Vietnamese rescue and relief delegation participating in overcoming the consequences of the earthquake in Venezuela has 124 members, including the Army and Police forces, led by Major General Pham Van Ty - Deputy Director of the Department of Rescue and Relief (General Staff), Deputy Chief of Office of the National Steering Committee for Civil Defense - as Head of the delegation; Colonel Pham Hung Duong - Deputy Director of the Fire and Rescue Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) as Deputy Head of the delegation.
