Pursuant to Decision No. 4148/QD-UBND and 4149/QD-UBND of the People's Committee of Ba Dinh District (Hanoi) on approving the Investment Project for the construction, restoration and embellishment of the special national relics of Quan Thanh Temple and Voi Phuc Temple, the two relics will be comprehensively restored with the items of Four Pillars, Nghi Mon, Main Temple and worship furniture of the Main Temple... and auxiliary items.
The project construction period is 300 days from the date of commencement and site handover.
On July 25, 2024, the construction unit started the restoration project at the special national relics of Quan Thanh Temple and Voi Phuc Temple. During the construction process, the site area will be limited to carry out the restoration of items according to the approved design, thus causing inconvenience to visitors coming to visit and worship at the relic during this time.
Especially at certain times when renovating the main items of the relic, to ensure the safety of visitors and ensure the progress and quality of the restoration of artifacts and statues, the Relic Management Board will have to temporarily close and stop receiving visitors and worshipers at the relic.
Based on the construction progress, from Wednesday, November 6, 2024 (October 6, Giap Thin year), Quan Thanh Temple will enter the stage of renovating the main temple roof and renovating the worshiping objects and interior of the temple; The relic management board will temporarily suspend all activities to welcome tourists and people to visit and worship until Thursday, December 5, 2024 (November 5, Giap Thin year).
