Lao Cai: Ready before fireworks display
On the afternoon of January 28 (ie 29th of Lunar New Year), Lao Cai Provincial Military Command completed preparations for low-altitude fireworks displays at two locations in Lao Cai city, including: the memorial site of President Ho Chi Minh in Lao Cai ward and the roof of the high-rise mixed-use building - The Manor Tower Lao Cai, Tran Hung Dao Avenue, Bac Cuong ward.
Fireworks will be held from 0:00 on January 29, 2025 (New Year's Eve). Fireworks will last no more than 15 minutes/point. Funding will come from socialized sources.
According to the Lao Cai Provincial Military Command, the transportation and preparation of fireworks are guaranteed to ensure security, order, absolute safety, fire prevention and fighting, environmental protection and related regulations in accordance with the Government's Decree.
Lao Cai Provincial Police also increased forces to coordinate to ensure security, order, traffic safety, and fire prevention at two fireworks display areas in the city.

Bac Ninh: Chairman of the City People's Committee inspects the fireworks site
On the afternoon of January 28, Chairman of Bac Ninh City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Hieu inspected the fireworks display on New Year's Eve.
On the eve of the Lunar New Year 2025, at Kinh Bac Cultural Center Square, Bac Ninh city will organize the firing of 1,000 high-altitude fireworks and 90 low-altitude fireworks.
Shooting time is 15 minutes, from 00:00 to 00:15 on January 29, 2025 (ie January 1, At Ty year).
Currently, preparations at the fireworks display site in Bac Ninh city have been basically completed.
All stages are carried out seriously and strictly, ensuring safety for people and facilities to meet the requirements for the fireworks display program on New Year's Eve of the Year of the Snake 2025.
After listening to the report on the preparation work, Chairman of Bac Ninh City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Hieu acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the units, especially the officers and soldiers directly preparing the conditions for the fireworks display.
In addition, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh city requested the forces participating in the task to closely check the plans, avoid errors, and ensure absolute safety for people and facilities before, during and after the fireworks display ends.
On the occasion of preparing to celebrate the traditional New Year, Chairman of Bac Ninh City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Hieu wished all officers, soldiers, militia and self-defense forces participating in the mission and their families good health, success and excellent completion of assigned tasks.
Kien Giang is ready
At 4 p.m., there are only a few hours left until the New Year's Eve, the old year turns into the new year. To welcome this sacred moment, this year, Kien Giang province organizes a New Year's Eve festival and fireworks display for the Lunar New Year 2025 at 4 locations including Rach Gia City, Phu Quoc City, Ha Tien City and Tan Hiep District. The program is organized with funding mobilized from socialized sponsorship sources.
The Provincial Military Command (CHQS) said that up to now, all preparations for fireworks displays in the areas have been completed. The unit has developed a plan, coordinated with departments, branches, sectors and People's Committees of districts and cities to organize fireworks displays according to plan, with absolute safety.
Colonel Nguyen Thanh An - Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command - directly inspected the installation of fireworks in districts and cities and said: "During the process of setting up the fireworks display site, the officers and soldiers were strictly informed by the Provincial Military Command about the rules on technical requirements and safety work. Up to this point, the installation of fireworks has been completed according to plan, ensuring safety in fire prevention and fighting".
The Provincial Military Command will continue to complete 100% of the preparation work, organize the Military Control force to coordinate with the Provincial and District Police forces to ensure the safety of the shooting area. Coordinate with the Organizing Committee of the ceremony to ensure the preparation and shooting practice.
According to the plan, the New Year's Eve festival and fireworks display in 2025 in Rach Gia City will take place at the Rach Gia City Community Center (Tran Quang Khai Square), with 240 barrels at 10:00 p.m. on January 28 (the 29th day of the Lunar New Year). Phu Quoc City will set off fireworks at the old airport runway, with 120 barrels, at 9:45 p.m. Ha Tien City will set off fireworks at Quarter 1, To Chau Ward, with 120 barrels, at 9:00 p.m. Tan Hiep District will set off fireworks at the District Cultural and Sports Center, with 90 barrels, at 9:15 p.m.
Hue: Prepare for the rain
At 2:30 p.m., hundreds of officers and soldiers in Hue braved the rain to prepare for the fireworks display on New Year's Eve of the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025.
On January 28 (29th of the Lunar calendar), more than 120 officers and soldiers of the Hue City Military Command worked hard in cold and rainy weather to prepare for the New Year's Eve fireworks display.
At the Ky Dai and Ngo Mon areas, the atmosphere was bustling and urgent with the deployment of artillery transport, installation of artillery systems, and inspection of technical equipment.
Although the preparation work encountered many difficulties, especially in unfavorable weather conditions and the use of new fireworks technology, the officers and soldiers were determined to complete the task on schedule, ready to serve the people.
Lieutenant Colonel Le Xuan Sanh - Commander of Phu Xuan District Military Command shared: "We determined that this is an important political task and 100% of officers and soldiers are determined to complete all preparations by the afternoon of the 29th of Tet, ensuring everyone can enjoy the most beautiful fireworks displays."
In localities, preparations were carried out early, with 4 fireworks display points in the city and districts. Despite difficulties in deploying new technology with the L100S Fireworks Igniter, technical staff completed the preparations carefully and safely.
By noon on the 29th of the lunar calendar, preparations were complete, with artillery and equipment ready. Colonel Phan Thang - Commander of the City Military Command emphasized: "Ensuring absolute safety for everyone is the top priority, so all participating officers have been trained and certified by the Ministry of National Defense".
With careful preparation, sparkling fireworks displays will welcome the New Year of the Snake 2025, bringing hope and prosperity to Hue City.
In the Spring of At Ty 2025, the entire city of Hue will organize high-altitude fireworks displays at 4 locations at the moment of New Year's Eve. In addition to the Ky Dai and Ngo Mon locations, 2,000 fireworks will be launched (1,000 high-altitude fireworks and 1,000 low-altitude fireworks), in Phong Dien town, 400 high-altitude fireworks and 500 low-altitude fireworks will be launched; in Phu Loc district and A Luoi district, each district will launch 300 high-altitude fireworks and 500 low-altitude fireworks; the display will last for 15 minutes.

According to the plan of the Hanoi People's Committee, on the eve of the Lunar New Year 2025, all 30 districts in the capital will organize fireworks displays at 31 locations. Of which, 10 locations will display high-altitude fireworks combined with low-altitude fireworks and 21 locations will display low-altitude fireworks.
