According to hospital leaders, patients were admitted to the hospital from the evening of the 23rd to the 24th of May in a state of fever, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea...
By this morning, the health of 39 patients has stabilized. Some cases may be discharged from the hospital, the remaining cases are still being monitored and treated," the hospital leader informed.

Hospital leaders added that, through initial reports, patients all said they had eaten bread at L.H. shop on Hung Vuong street before symptoms of suspected food poisoning appeared.
Currently, it has only been determined to be suspected of food poisoning. The specific cause is still being checked and tested to clarify," this person said.
Recorded at the Department of Infectious Diseases, many patients are still tired, have abdominal pain and diarrhea.
Ms. N.T. T. D (born in 1981, residing in Quarter 1, Quy Nhon Dong ward) said that on the morning of May 22, she bought bread at L.H. shop for the whole family to have breakfast. In the evening of the same day, all 4 family members showed symptoms of vomiting, fever and diarrhea.

My husband and older son were slightly injured, so they treated themselves at home. My youngest child and I, 13 years old, were more seriously injured, so we had to be hospitalized. Besides my family, some neighbors also experienced a similar situation after eating bread at this shop," Ms. D. said.
According to Ms. D., her family often buys bread here, but nothing unusual has ever happened before.
Treating in the same department, Ms. N.C.L (born in 1996, residing in Hoa Lac village, Cat Tien commune) said that the whole family of 7 people after eating bread all showed symptoms of abdominal pain, vomiting and had to be hospitalized for treatment, including 4 young children.
I hope functional agencies will strictly inspect food safety assurance at eateries to avoid similar incidents occurring, affecting people's health," Ms. L. suggested.
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Van Dang - Head of Gia Lai Provincial Sub-Department of Food Safety and Hygiene - said that the unit has grasped the information and is investigating and verifying to handle it according to regulations.
