Playground rich in human values
This year’s National Rural Youth Football Tournament is not only an opportunity for football teams to compete but also a playground to connect and create an environment for exchange between young people from different provinces and cities. Through the tournament, the spirit of solidarity, sports training and raising community awareness are strongly affirmed.
The tournament was held on the occasion of the completion of the "Sports Step Up" project for the period 2022 - 2024, a strategic cooperation initiative between SABECO and the Central Youth Union to develop community sports through upgrading and handing over 30 sports fields in 30 provinces and cities across the country.
After the Opening Ceremony, the first match took place between Binh Duong Provincial Youth Union and Saigon Beer Central. The Award Ceremony and Program Summary are scheduled to be held on the evening of December 14, concluding two exciting and meaningful days of competition.
This year's Final Round brings together 11 teams with more than 130 athletes, including representatives from Provincial Youth Unions such as: Bac Giang, Binh Duong, Yen Bai, Ha Tinh, Vinh Long, Can Tho, Khanh Hoa, and teams from Saigon Beer in the North, Central and East.
The teams are divided into 3 groups, competing in a round-robin format. The four best teams will enter the Semi-finals, then compete for the Championship title. The tournament applies the 5-a-side football rules issued by the Vietnam Football Federation, ensuring professionalism and high competition.
The program has attracted the attention of thousands of people, contributing to creating a meaningful sporting event, marking an important step forward in the development of sports and community culture in Vietnam.
Continuing the journey of community engagement
Not only stopping at exciting matches on the field, the program also organizes many cultural exchange activities, music, cuisine and physical games for local people. This is an opportunity for the community to connect and experience the colorful festival atmosphere throughout the two days of the event.
With the goal of “Connecting Vietnamese Spirit”, SABECO Sports Hub 2024 not only provides a useful sports playground but also encourages people to exercise, build an active and balanced lifestyle. At the same time, sideline activities such as enjoying regional cuisine, cultural exchange and entertainment have attracted the participation of many young people and local people, creating a vibrant and united atmosphere.
“SABECO Sports Hub” is a series of activities that SABECO cooperates with the Central Youth Union to implement in 2024 towards connecting the community and promoting sustainable development in localities. This is an initiative following the “Sports Step Up” project implemented from 2022-2024 to complete the construction and handover of 30 community sports fields.
This SABECO Sports Hub initiative is also a three-way cooperation model between businesses, local authorities and people, contributing to building positive, long-term values for the community. In addition to creating a sports playground, organizing more than 180 qualifying matches in 36 provinces and cities across the country. SABECO Sports Hub also contributes to spreading the message of an active lifestyle, connecting the community through meaningful activities rich in cultural values.
