Regarding the case of Khoi My stop at Cai Rang floating market (in Le Binh ward, Cai Rang district) being administratively fined and suspended from operation for 2 months (from February 18), but still operating, on the afternoon of April 11, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho City said that the Department Inspectorate had strictly implemented the decision to sanction administrative violations against Khoi My stop.

"Currently, the Department is assigning regular inspectors there to coordinate with local authorities to manage and ensure compliance with regulations," said Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan also informed that by the morning of April 11, Khoi My stop had officially stopped operating, complying with the decision to sanction administrative violations, and after more than 1.5 months of operation during the suspension period.
Previously, at the working session with the interdisciplinary inspection team, Mr. Tran Chi (owner of Khoi My facility) reported the incident of the cape collapse that caused many tourists to fall into the river.

The incident occurred at around 6:20 a.m. on February 16. At that time, due to the large number of visitors gathering at the bow of the raft waiting for the boat to arrive, many tourists fell into the water.
