According to the Traffic Police Department of Tay Ninh Provincial Police, the whole province currently has 500 smart surveillance cameras installed on key traffic routes. Of which, 253 cameras serve to monitor and handle violations of traffic order and safety and 247 cameras serve to ensure security and order.
The cameras operate continuously 24/24 hours, automatically recording images and videos of violations, helping functional forces have objective grounds in the process of verification and handling according to regulations.
Lieutenant Colonel Tran Thanh Luon - Deputy Head of the Propaganda, Investigation, Accident Resolution and Traffic Violation Handling Team, Traffic Police Department of Tay Ninh Provincial Police said that from January 1, 2026 to now, the unit has detected and handled more than 2,600 violations through the surveillance camera system.
Strengthening the handling of remote fines not only improves the effectiveness of state management of traffic order and safety but also contributes to forming the self-awareness of law compliance of traffic participants.
According to the Traffic Police force, the application of technology in monitoring and handling violations helps reduce pressure on forces performing duties directly on the road, while limiting violations such as running red lights, going in the wrong lane, stopping and parking improperly or speeding.
The Traffic Police Department of Tay Ninh Provincial Police recommends that people seriously comply with the provisions of the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety. Compliance with regulations not only helps avoid being fined but also contributes to protecting the safety of life and health of themselves and the community.
