Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee has just issued a document on implementing road service fee reduction at BOT stations in the province. According to the document of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee, the request was made based on the proposal of the Vietnam Road Administration in Document No. 4280/CDBVN-KHTC dated July 8, 2026 and the proposal of the Department of Construction in Document No. 4062/SXDQLKCHTXD dated July 31, 2026.
The Provincial People's Committee requests the People's Committees of communes and wards to coordinate with investors and project enterprises in the area to inspect and review the list of vehicles eligible for road use service price reductions; unify the name of the unit and new administrative boundary according to the name of the unit and old administrative boundary, ensuring to maintain the subjects and scope of price reductions being implemented, including the radius around the toll station.
The Provincial People's Committee requests Tasco Nam Thai Joint Stock Company, Thai Binh Coastal Road PPP Investment Co., Ltd. and Thai Ha Bridge BOT Joint Stock Company to coordinate with the People's Committees of communes and wards within the radius around the toll station and relevant departments and branches to inspect, review, and confirm the list of vehicles eligible for road use service fee reduction through the toll station.
Project enterprises must strictly implement the reduction of road use service fees for the right subjects, ensuring the correct administrative boundaries when implementing the two-level government model according to legal regulations.
The Department of Construction is assigned to guide the People's Committees of communes and wards where toll stations are located to coordinate with investors and project enterprises to review and confirm the list of vehicles eligible for road use service fee reduction based on the current regulations of the Vietnam Road Administration on road use service fee reduction for vehicles in neighboring areas after merging administrative boundaries and implementing a two-level local government model.
