About 75 years ago (April 1949), in the midst of the great mountains at Boro Ra hamlet (now Goc Mit hamlet, Tan Thai Commune, Dai Tu District), the first class of the Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism Training School was held with 43 students.
With its great significance, the class received special attention when President Ho Chi Minh sent two letters of encouragement and advice to the students.
Notably, among the 42 students, three later worked at the Labor Newspaper, namely Mr. and Mrs. Pham Thi Mai Cuong, Mr. and Mrs. Nguyen Van Tung, and Mr. Du Viet.
