On the afternoon of August 7, the Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue Police force of Khanh Hoa province promptly controlled a fire that occurred at the conference hall of Champa Island Nha Trang - Resort Hotel & Spa.
According to initial information, at 4:20 pm on the same day, Center 114 received a fire report in the lobby area of Champa Island Nha Trang hall, in Tay Nha Trang ward.
Immediately after receiving the news, Team 3 of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Fire and Rescue Police Department dispatched 2 fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to deploy firefighting operations.
At the scene, functional forces used specialized vehicles, coordinated with officers and soldiers to urgently extinguish the fire.
To date, the fire has been completely controlled, without causing any casualties.
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of Champa Island Nha Trang Restaurant said that the unit has not yet statistically determined the damage, so it cannot provide specific information about the extent of the fire's impact.
The cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
