Lai Chau overnight rescues a woman lost in the forest

Lai Chau - Functional forces just promptly rescued a woman who was lost in a deep forest while looking for bamboo shoots.

On December 30, Khoen On Commune Police, Lai Chau province said that the unit had just coordinated with local authorities to successfully rescue a woman who was lost in a deep forest with serious injuries and depleted health.

Previously, at about 6 pm on December 28, Khoen On Commune Police received a report from the family of Ms. Tong Thi Thinh (born 2000, residing in Me village, Khoen On commune) about Ms. Thinh going to find bamboo shoots from the afternoon and not returning.

The family said that Ms. Thinh has medical history, is in very weak health and has just been discharged from the hospital for 1 week.

Accordingly, the Steering Committee of Khoen On Commune Police immediately reported to the Party Committee and local authorities. At the same time, the unit mobilized maximum troops, coordinated with local forces to quickly deploy search and rescue plans.

Task forces with flashlights and knives going into the forest divided their noses, waded streams, and crossed dense areas to search all night.

At 7:25 am on December 29, the Task Force discovered Ms. Thinh in the deep forest area of Me village.

At the time of discovery, the victim was in a state of panic, exhaustion and acute blood loss. Through preliminary examination, functional forces discovered that Ms. Thinh's right hand was seriously injured, losing a finger joint due to falling and clinging to the sharp knife she was carrying.

The commune police force performed first aid to stop the bleeding, reassure the spirit, and took the victim out of the forest and transferred him to a medical facility.
