At 11pm on January 21, a fire broke out at Voi Mountain, in Chi Lai village, Truong Thanh commune, An Lao district, adjacent to an area with many houses. Immediately after receiving the fire alarm, An Lao district police mobilized forces and 2 fire trucks, coordinated with military units stationed in the area and the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department to quickly put out the fire. By 1:30am on January 22, the fire was extinguished. The fire did not cause any human casualties.
Previously, at 3:30 p.m. on January 21, An Lao District Police received a report from local residents about a fire at the foot of Voi Mountain in Tien Hoi Village, An Tien Commune. Upon receiving the report, the District Police used 2 fire trucks and accompanying vehicles to coordinate in extinguishing the fire. By 9 p.m. the same day, the fire was extinguished. According to statistics, the total area of the fire was about 400 m², and there were no casualties.
Currently, An Lao District Police continue to coordinate with functional units to verify and clarify the causes of the two fires above.
