Accordingly, the People's Committee of Hai Phong City reclaimed 10,129.41 square meters of land from Cat Ba Sun Company Limited in Dong Bai Commune, Cat Hai District (which had been leased by the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board under Decision No. 2955/QD-BQL dated July 9, 2021). The reclaimed land belongs to the Project of Cargo Port, Ferry Terminal, Other Wharf, Factory Manufacturing Tourism Products, Tourism Logistics Service Area invested by Cat Ba Sun Company Limited in Dong Bai Commune. Cat Ba Sun Company Limited voluntarily returned the land.
Hai Phong City People's Committee assigned Cat Hai District People's Committee to manage and use the project to invest in construction, renovation and expansion of Dong Bai ferry terminal, Cai Vieng ferry terminal and auxiliary works (located in Dong Bai commune and Phu Long commune, Cat Hai district).
The City People's Committee also assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to preside over the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board, Cat Hai District People's Committee, Dong Bai Commune People's Committee and Cat Ba Sun Company Limited to implement this decision, hand over the land boundary markers to Cat Hai District People's Committee for management and use according to regulations. At the same time, carry out procedures to publicly announce the land recovery decision, adjust land records according to regulations; review the return of property value attached to the land for the area voluntarily returned by Cat Ba Sun Company Limited.
Cat Hai District People's Committee receives the land, manages the recovered land fund according to regulations, and does not allow land encroachment or occupation.
