Hoa Binh Lake is at an altitude of 100.68m, water flow to the lake is 3,500m3/s, total discharge flow is 4,473m3/s, of which 1,479m3/s passes through the spillway, 2,994m3/s through the plant. The plant is opening 1 deep discharge gate, not opening the surface discharge gate.
In Lai Chau, the reservoir water level reached 287.62m, inflow to the reservoir 1,626m3/s, total discharge volume 1,537m3/s, all through the plant.
Huo Huoi Quang Lake reached 369.83m, close to the normal water level, inflow to the lake 254m3/s, discharge 340m3/s through the plant.
Ban Chat Lake has a water level of 470.05m, inflow to the lake 311m3/s and has not been discharged.
In the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir has a water level of 106.99m, water inflow to the reservoir of 1,895m3/s, total discharge volume of 1,227.45m3/s, including 504m3/s through the spillway, 723.45m3/s through the plant, opening 1 deep discharge gate.
In the North Central region, Trung Son Lake reached 151.09m, inflow to the lake 452m3/s, discharge 480m3/s. Khe Bo Lake has a water level of 64.49m, inflow to the lake 63.9m3/s, discharge 206.8m3/s through the plant. Ban Ve Lake reached 174.49m, inflow to the lake 204m3/s and has not been discharged. Quang Tri Lake has a water level of 457.65m, inflow to the lake only 2m3/s, total discharge volume 18m3/s.
In the South Central Coast, most reservoirs operate stably. A Vuong reservoir reached 351.63m, discharging 28m3/s; Ba Ha River discharged 120m3/s; Hinh River discharged equivalent to a water inflow to the reservoir of 15.22m3/s. Song Bung 2, Song Tranh 2, Vinh Son B and Vinh Son C reservoirs have not yet discharged.
In the Central Highlands, Ialy Lake has a water level of 498.4m, inflow to the lake 131m3/s, discharge 31m3/s. An Khe Lake reaches 428.39m, discharge 5.45m3/s, of which 4m3/s through the spillway and 1.45m3/s through the plant, opening 1 surface discharge gate. Buon Kuop Lake opens 1 deep discharge gate, total discharge amount 15.4m3/s, all through the spillway. Srepok 3 Lake discharges 150m3/s, while Pleikrông, Se San 3, Se San 4, Dong Nai 3, Dong Nai 4, Dai Ninh and Buon Tua Srah lakes have not yet discharged.
In the Southeast region, Tri An reservoir has a water level of 51.36m, inflow to the reservoir 870m3/s, total discharge 350m3/s through the plant. Thac Mo reservoir reached 201.48m, inflow to the reservoir 201.6m3/s, discharge 173m3/s.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting on July 28, the Northern region, Central Highlands and Southern region will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, with locally very heavy rain.
Heavy rain and localized heavy rain are likely to cause flooding in low-lying areas, urban and industrial areas; flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on slopes.
