Many hydropower reservoirs in the Central - Central Highlands on July 20th were lower than the normal water level, and some reservoirs had higher discharge flows than the water inflow.

According to reservoir operation data, at 11:00 AM on July 20, in the North Central region, Trung Son reservoir had a water level of 151.4 m, 8.6 m lower than the normal water level. The inflow to the reservoir reached 422 m3/s, with a total discharge volume of 480 m3/s.

Khe Bo Lake has a water level of 64.75 m, 0.25 m lower than the normal water level. Inflow and total discharge are both at 95.5 m3/s. Quang Tri Lake has a water level of 460.29 m, inflow 2 m3/s, total discharge 18 m3/s.

In the South Central Coast, A Vuong reservoir has a water level of 353.11 m, 26.89 m lower than the normal water level; water inflow is 14.24 m3/s, total discharge is 30.2 m3/s.

Song Bung 4 Lake has a water level of 209.81 m, lower than the normal water level by 12.69 m; water inflow is 17 m3/s, total discharge is 49 m3/s. Song Ba Ha Lake has a water level of 102.96 m, lower than the normal water level by 2.04 m; total discharge is 154 m3/s, while water inflow is 50 m3/s.

In the Central Highlands, Ialy Lake has a water level of 500.67 m, 14.33 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the lake reached 253 m3/s, total discharge volume 288 m3/s.

Pleikrông Lake has a water level of 547.4 m, which is 22.6 m lower than the normal water level; water inflow is 108 m3/s, total discharge is 203 m3/s.

Se San 3 Lake has a water level of 303.75 m, lower than the normal water level by 0.75 m; inflow 300 m3/s, total discharge 403 m3/s. Se San 4 Lake has a water level of 211.4 m, lower than the normal water level by 3.6 m; total discharge 320 m3/s.

Buon Tua Srah Lake has a water level of 469.35 m, 18.15 m lower than the normal water level; water inflow is 83 m3/s, total discharge is 172 m3/s. Buon Kuop Lake has a water level of 409.75 m, total discharge is 15 m3/s.

According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on July 20, the mountainous and midland areas of the Northern region will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain; the delta will have showers and thunderstorms in some places at night, scattered showers and thunderstorms during the day, locally heavy rain. Rain concentrates in the late afternoon, night and early morning.

The area from Nghe An to Da Nang and the east of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak will be hot, with intense heat in some places with the highest temperature commonly 35-37 degrees Celsius, in some places above 37 degrees Celsius.

The Southern region in the late afternoon and night has showers and thunderstorms in some places, sunny during the day.
