On August 29, the Traffic Police Department (CSGT), Dak Lak Provincial Police informed that during patrols and controls on the Ho Chi Minh road, functional forces discovered a young man driving a motorbike testing positive for drugs. Notably, this vehicle also does not have a braking system as prescribed.
Previously, at about 5:30 am on August 28, 2026, at Km 1790+700 of the Ho Chi Minh road, passing through Hoa Phu commune, the patrol and control team of Road Traffic Police Team No. 1 proceeded to stop and inspect a motorbike with license plate 47M1-675. XX driven by K.S (born 2007), traveling in the direction of Dak Lak to Lam Dong.
Through inspection, functional forces found that K.S showed signs of suspected drug use, so they conducted a quick check. The results showed that this young man tested positive for drugs.
Not only violating drug-related violations, through checking the technical safety conditions of the vehicle, the patrol and control team also discovered that the motorbike driven by K.S. did not have a braking system as prescribed. This situation poses a high risk of traffic accidents, especially when vehicles travel on roads with high vehicle density.
The patrol and control team made a record of administrative violation against K.S. for the violations. At the same time, the traffic police force coordinated with Hoa Phu Commune Police to continue to verify and consolidate the file to handle the case according to the provisions of law.
