On August 9, the Nghe An Market Management Department said that the authorities in the area had just coordinated to detect and handle a case of violating regulations on the transportation and trading of goods.
Accordingly, on August 6, 2025, Team 11 - Nghe An Market Management Department coordinated with the Order Police Team, Department of Administrative Management of Social Order Police and Team 4 - Department of Economic Police, Nghe An Provincial Police to inspect a transport vehicle with the brand CHENGLONG with license plate 34H-017.93 driven by Mr. Ho Van Hau (born in 1997, residing in Thach Khoi Ward, Hai Phong City).
Through inspection, the authorities discovered that the vehicle was hiding 62 bags of white sand from MITR PHOL SUGAR, originating from Thailand, with a total weight of 3.1 tons. At the time of inspection, Mr. Hau had not yet presented invoices or documents proving the legality of the goods.
Team 11 has sealed and temporarily detained all sand for verification and handling according to regulations.
According to Nghe An Market Management Force, in the coming time, the unit will continue to coordinate with functional forces to strengthen inspection and control of goods, especially health protection food products and functional foods, to promptly detect, prevent and handle acts of producing and trading fake, unknown origin, smuggling or not ensuring quality circulation in the area.
