Previously, at around 11:40 a.m. on September 10, the Waterway Police Team (Traffic Police Department of Dong Nai Province Police) received a report from Mr. N.V.H (28 years old, residing in Long Hung Ward), while pulling a fishing net on the Dong Nai River (from Dong Nai Bridge to Ba Xe Islet), Mr. H. discovered 3 metal objects shaped like bullets and bombs, including 1 suspected to still contain explosives.
Upon receiving the information, the Waterway Police Team quickly arrived at the scene, coordinating with Long Hung Ward Police and the Long Hung Ward Military Command to collect, receive and safely handle the above objects, and bring the fishermen's vehicles to a safe location.
