According to records, many roads such as Cach Mang Thang Tam, Bui Huu Nghia, Le Hong Phong and areas in Con Khuong were flooded with running water. People's travel faces many obstacles.
At the scene, an ambulance had to move very slowly through a flooded road, helped by surrounding residents.


The flooding caused many motorbikes to stall, making it difficult for people to walk. Cyclists also have difficulty passing through flooded sections.
Mr. Huynh Tan (33 years old, Can Tho City) said that on his way to work in Binh Thuy Ward, the rising water routes caused his and many others' vehicles to stall. Fortunately, thanks to the police force, militia and shock troops to help with the vehicle, everyone was able to get through the deeply flooded sections.



In particular, in Ben Ninh Kieu area, many locations here are flooded, rising water levels partly affect the business and trading of households. Business households struggled to move goods and furniture to avoid flooding. Some households have used protective measures to prevent water from flooding into their houses.


According to the Can Tho City Hydrometeorological Station, in recent days, the water level at the Can Tho station on the Hau River has risen. This morning alone (September 11), the highest peak water level at 7:00 a.m. was 2m06, 0.06m higher than the alarm level III. Currently, this is the highest water level in the recent days of the dynasty.
Previously, on September 8, the highest water level that appeared at 6am was 1.86m (0.06m higher than the I alarm level). On September 9, the highest water level recorded at 5:30 p.m. was 1.96 m (0.06 m) above alert level II. Yesterday (September 10), the water level at 6:30 am was 2.01m (0.01m higher than the alarm level III).
According to the forecast of the Can Tho City Hydrometeorological Station, this afternoon (September 11), the high tide level will continue to be above alert level III.
