On April 20, the authorities had an initial report on the fire that occurred at Doanh Dieu Shoes Company Limited, located at Lot F2-1, Road 13, Thuan Dao Industrial Park Expansion, Long Dinh Commune, Can Duoc District, Long An Province. This is a company specializing in the production of shoe soles.
Accordingly, the fire did not cause any human casualties but caused damage to the factory of about 3,000m2, inside which were many other assets such as machinery and production materials. The enterprise and the authorities are coordinating to inspect, determine the damage and investigate the cause of the fire.
Through initial determination, the cause of the fire may have been due to a technical problem with a cylindrical steel pipe leading oil from a circular boiler to break the shoe sole. From there, the oil at high temperatures burned onto the surface of the shoe sole material, causing a fire at the factory.
Previously, at 7:50 p.m. on April 19, 2025, a fire broke out at a factory of Doanh Dieu Shoes Company Limited, in the Thuan Dao Industrial Park expansion located in Long Dinh commune, Can Duoc district.
In a short time, the fire broke out and spread, making it difficult to extinguish the fire. At the time of the fire, the smoke column and fire were rising.
Upon receiving the report, Long An Provincial Police quickly mobilized 4 specialized fire trucks, 25 officers and soldiers from the Central Fire Fighting and Rescue Team stationed in Tan An City and the area stationed in Ben Luc District to the scene to put out the fire. The fire fighting team also had 24 people and 3 fire trucks from the Fire Fighting Teams of Vinh Loc 2 Industrial Parks, Thuan Dao, and Nhut Chanh.
After many efforts and high determination, the fire was extinguished at 9:00 p.m. the same day.
