On December 18, Residential Group 83 (Hoa Khanh Bac Ward, Lien Chieu District, Da Nang City) said that they were extracting security cameras and coordinating with the Ward Police to investigate a group of young men who brazenly set off homemade fireworks right in the middle of a residential area, causing panic among residents.
Previously, at around 4:00 p.m. on December 17, residents living in the Hoa Khanh apartment building (Hoa Khanh Bac ward) were startled when they heard a loud explosion coming from the soccer field next to the apartment building, so they reported it to the building management board.
Through camera footage, the apartment security force discovered that at that time, a group of teenagers went to the soccer field area next to building B1 (Hoa Khanh apartment building) to play. At this time, 5 teenagers approached the house under construction near the soccer field. A teenager wearing a white shirt in this group went inside the house and lit a homemade firecracker, then the whole group retreated. A few seconds later, the firecracker exploded with sparks.
Another teenager also set off fireworks right in the soccer field. Smoke rose after the explosion. After the incident, the group left, and there was a smell of fireworks at the scene.
