On August 3, talking to reporters, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Vice Chairman of Da Bac District People's Committee - said: "Currently, the counting of the 8km section through Da Bac town and Cao Son commune has been completed. As soon as the price is available. For specific land, the district will hold a meeting of the Valuation Council to set land prices and list compensation for people.
If people strongly agree, they will pay to hand over the clean site to the construction unit to conduct the groundbreaking ceremony."
According to Mr. Tuan, the Hoa Binh - Moc Chau expressway has 21/34km passing through Da Bac district with 4 communes and towns including Da Bac town, Cao Son commune, Tien Phong commune and Tu Ly commune. There are a total of 88 households whose houses and land are affected.
"The district is urgently implementing work related to compensation and site clearance to hand over a clean site for the project" - Mr. Tuan said.
Request to start construction of Hoa Binh - Moc Chau expressway before September 2
Information from the People's Committee of Hoa Binh province said that the Hoa Binh - Moc Chau expressway project (section from Km19+000 - Km53+000 in Hoa Binh province) has a construction scale of 34km long. Total investment is 9,997 billion VND.
The capital plan assigned to date is 4,523 billion VND. To date, the project has disbursed 39.2 billion VND.
According to the People's Committee of this province, regarding the project implementation progress, for consulting packages for technical design verification, Hoa Son bridge construction estimates and construction price appraisal consulting packages, currently has completed the contractor selection, contract signing and implementation.
For the section from Km19 - Km40+750 (before Hoa Son bridge), complete the design documents and submit to the specialized agency of the Ministry of Transport for appraisal.
The section from Km41+989 - Km53 (after Hoa Son bridge) has basically completed the technical design and construction estimates.
