On March 31, the MAG Mine Advisory Group (an NGO operating in the field of humanitarian mine clearance) in Vietnam said that during an inspection of the area near the stream bank, an employee of an eco-tourism area in Thuong Trach commune, Quang Tri province discovered a cluster bomb.
Immediately after receiving the information, MAG's emergency handling team was present at the scene, conducting inspection and destroying the cluster bomb on the spot, ensuring safety.

According to Mr. Canh - the person who directly reported the news, the bomb discovery area is a familiar tourist destination, famous for activities such as bathing in streams, ziplines and camping.
It is known that MAG is an international humanitarian organization operating in Vietnam since 1999, has safely handled more than 400,000 explosives, and cleared over 300 km2 of land in Quang Tri and Da Nang.
The organization's activities are supported by the Governments of the United States, Japan and Canada, contributing to bringing a safe living environment to the community.
