On June 28, leaders of Phuoc Hoi ward (Lam Dong) confirmed that functional forces had found the body of a young man in the Trieu Cuong 3 beach area.
The victim was identified as Do Quoc C (19 years old, residing in the locality).
According to initial information, in the afternoon of the same day, people discovered clothes and a pair of sandals left on the beach, in front of the Mother Avalokiteśvara Temple (Chùa Cóc), but did not see the owner, so they reported it to the authorities.
Upon receiving the report, Phuoc Hoi Ward Police coordinated with many forces to quickly arrive and organize searches in the area suspected of having missing people.
After many hours of searching, functional forces discovered the victim's body under the sea.
Functional agencies have completed the dossiers and procedures to hand over the victim's body to the family for funeral arrangements.
Currently, the cause of the incident is being investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
Previously, on June 27, a drowning incident occurred in the beach area of Tan Hai commune (Lam Dong province), killing a tourist.
