At about 6 am on June 28, the 114 Command Information Center, Fire and Rescue Police Department, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police received a report that 2 people were trapped in an elevator at a hotel in Sam Son ward.
Immediately after receiving the news, the River Fire and Rescue Police Team urgently dispatched officers, soldiers and specialized vehicles to the scene to organize rescue and relief.
Through verification, functional forces determined that the two tourists were trapped in the elevator cabin between the 2nd and 3rd floors, in a state of panic. Rescue officers quickly calmed down, guided the victims to remain calm and coordinate handling.
After using specialized equipment to break open the elevator door, functional forces brought both people out safely, ensuring health, and no injuries occurred.
The incident was handled promptly, contributing to ensuring safety for tourists and limiting the risk of incidents occurring during elevator operation at accommodation establishments.
