Hanoi Market Management Department discovers and temporarily detained more than 15 tons of expired pork bones

Hanoi - More than 15 tons of expired foreign-origin pork bones were discovered in a frozen warehouse in Quang Minh commune.

On August 12, information from the Hanoi Market Management Department (QLTT), the unit has just discovered and temporarily detained a large amount of goods, which are expired frozen food, being stored at a frozen warehouse in Quang Minh commune, Hanoi.

Accordingly, on August 11, Market Management Team No. 10 - Hanoi Market Management Department coordinated with Quang Minh Commune Police (Hanoi) to conduct a search of a batch of frozen food goods (pork's back) of Quynh Huong Food Company Limited being stored and stored at HPC Kien Cuong refrigeration warehouse under HPC Kien Cuong Joint Stock Company (address: Lot 43B, Quang Minh Industrial Park, Quang Minh Commune, Hanoi City).

At the time of the inspection, all the goods were frozen pig's back bones manufactured abroad, contained in 786 cardboard boxes (20kg/box), with a total weight of 15,720kg.

The packaging of goods must have foreign characters and a sub-label in Vietnamese, with a validity period of 02 years from February 16, 2022.

Through inspection, the working group determined that since the expiration date, the shipment of goods has been stored at HPC Kien Cuong refrigerator with 796 boxes (15,920 kg); 10 boxes (200 kg) have been sold, the actual goods in the warehouse are 786 boxes (15,720 kg).

Currently, Market Management Team No. 10 has temporarily detained all of the above goods for handling according to regulations.
