On May 6, Krong Buk Commune People's Committee (Dak Lak province) informed that a rare incident had just occurred in the area when a wedding tent collapsed, causing 3 minor injuries.
According to initial information, on the afternoon of May 5, a family in Tan Lap village (Krong Buk commune) held a reception before the wedding day for their son and invited relatives and close neighbors to attend.
At about 8:30 pm on the same day, the wedding tent roofed with corrugated iron suddenly collapsed, causing 3 guests to be slightly injured.
The initial cause was determined to be that the tent's anchor cable was tied to a truck of a mobile wedding organizing unit. After that, the driver accidentally drove the car to move, pulling the tent frame, causing the tent to collapse.
Fortunately, at the time of the incident, most of the guests had left, only a few people remained to eat, drink, and sing, so no serious consequences occurred.
Currently, the wedding party organizing unit has rebuilt a new tent so that the family can have a wedding ceremony and welcome the bride at noon on May 6, and at the same time support medical examination costs for the injured.
