The project to renovate and repair the district road (DH.34) from the Enh intersection in Tan Minh commune to Yen Hoa commune, Da Bac district, Hoa Binh province is invested by the Da Bac district's Project Management Board for Investment, Construction and Land Fund Development with a total investment of 105 billion VND.
The project started construction in December 2023, with Dai Doanh Company Limited, LD Hoa Binh Construction Investment Joint Stock Company and Duc Nhanh Construction Company Limited as the contractor.
In the first days of the new year, present at the project, according to the reporter's records, the road surface has basically formed with dozens of workers and machines working hurriedly.
Speaking to reporters, a representative of Dai Doanh Company Limited said that the construction unit is urgently implementing the project to complete it as scheduled in March 2025.
“The unit also focuses on completing the construction of difficult terrain sections with steep slopes. The route is expected to ensure traffic safety, improve operational efficiency and contribute to promoting local socio-economic development,” the representative informed.
Ms. Ha Thi Thau - a resident of Enh hamlet, Tan Minh commune said that this is a vital route connecting Tan Minh and Doan Ket communes. Every day, hundreds of vehicles travel back and forth, serving the purpose of trading and transporting goods.
"People are very excited about the new road and hope the construction unit will soon complete it, making it more convenient for people to travel," Ms. Thau shared.
According to Ms. Thau, in the past, the mountainous terrain was rugged and steep, and every time it rained, people always lived in fear of landslides. However, the spacious and spacious road that is about to be completed is the long-standing dream of the Tay, Muong, and Dao ethnic groups in the two communes of Doan Ket and Tan Minh.
Mr. Quach Cong Khang - Chairman of Tan Minh Commune People's Committee said that the people are very happy and support the project. During the land clearance process, hundreds of households agreed to donate land to build inter-commune roads.
"When completed, the new route will bring great convenience in travel and trade, contributing significantly to the socio-economic development of the highland communes of Da Bac district," Mr. Khang assessed.
According to information from the Management Board of Investment, Construction and Land Fund Development Project of Da Bac district, up to now, the project has basically completed 95% of the construction progress, and is expected to complete construction by March 10, 2025.
